Today there were 603 Form 4 filings processed by the SEC. These transactions involved activity in 294 companies and came from 581 insiders. Individual filings where there was more than $1 million in market value represented, occurred in 52 filings. There were 18 companies with aggregated total market value transactions that exceeded the high value threshold and within these companies were 29 individual insiders with transactions that were greater than $1 million.

Within the Russell 1000 Value index there were 115 individuals filers from 57 companies reporting insider trades. Included in this activity, were high value transactions representing 8 individuals in 5 companies and involving $619,133,588 in market value. This level of activity was substantially greater than the average for the last week but substantially below the average for the last month, and came from discretionary purchases of 37,500 shares and discretionary sales of 7,391,496 shares. Within the Russell 3000 index there were 514 individuals filers from 260 companies reporting insider trades. High value transactions represented $698,535,747 in market value and reflected 23 individual filers from 16 companies. This level of activity was substantially lower than the average for the prior week and month, and came from discretionary purchases of 37,500 shares and discretionary sales of 12,418,840 shares.
