Significant Transactions for Friday, February 4, 2017

The SEC reported 1,085 Form 4 filings today. This activity came from 1,065 insiders involving 331 companies. Individual transactions totaling over $1 million in market value occurred in 110 of these filings. Companies with aggregate market value transactions of over $1 million numbered 24, and within these companies there were 74 individual insiders surpassing the high value threshold.

Within the Russell 3000 index there were 294 companies reporting insider trades which included 949 individuals. This activity was markedly above the average for the month and significantly above that of preceding week. Included in this activity, were high value transactions that involved 52 individuals in 24 companies, reflecting $2,700,067,498 in market value, and came from discretionary purchases of 233,500 shares and discretionary sales of 80,921,879 shares.

There have been 5 insiders with buy/sell transactions in the past 90 days prior to these filings. All of these trades have been sales resulting in the disposition of 556,880 company shares. Adding the most recent activity to this 90-day history indicates insider trades have seen net sales of 643,100 shares and have averaged 80,388 shares per transaction over this time period.
